tgas-dressOn behalf of the Ihloff Team, it has been an absolute pleasure to support the Tulsa Girl’s Art School for the past three years with their annual fundraiser “Through a Child’s Eye.” This year’s theme is TABLESCAPES and already shaping up to be the best event yet! Artists and Designers from the Tulsa area will each create elaborate tablescapes inspired by a famous artist, historical or current. Sponsors can then choose the table to purchase on a first-come-first-serve basis!ashley-and-girls

Early in the year we began working with Matt Moffett (Executive Director of TGAS), Sara Cruncleton (Event Director), and Andrea Garner (Event Chair). As this year’s theme developed, we began work with our Creative Directors to determine our role in helping the TGAS Artists deliver a thematic vision through runway models. The plan was finalized by June and we hit the ground running!

girl-and-dressThis year we have twelve Senior Creatives who have each chosen an artist as their model’s theme. Twelve senior TGAS students will use cotton maxi dresses as their canvas, and then our team will perform hair and makeup to complete the look! To gain inspiration we spent a day touring the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville, AR with Matt Moffett. By the time we got back to Tulsa everyone had found their personal artist inspiration!

Our Creatives have been spending time at TGAS working with their student partners, and that is where the magic truly happens! The synergy created between the Creatives and the students have impacted our team with emotions we have never experienced in all our years doing runway shows! Our team is extremely blessed to be part of this incredible show!
