Smoothing and Texture Treatments

A Brazilian Blowout® uses a customizable amino acid formula to eliminate frizz while preserving your natural curl or wave, giving you flexible styling that lasts up to 12 weeks. A Keratin Smoothing Treatment penetrates deeper into the hair cuticle alongside our specialized hair treatments for intensive frizz control and long-lasting smoothness that makes daily styling faster and easier.

Professional Keratin and Brazilian Blowout® options from our smoothing and texture treatments menu protect hair against frizz and moisture for up to 12 weeks, while express versions provide up to 6 to 8 weeks of control. Because Oklahoma summers bring intense humidity, these treatments seal the cuticle so your blowout stays sleek in all weather.

A Keratin treatment significantly reduces curl pattern, tames bulk, and removes frizz, but it is not a permanent chemical straightener. Your hair will retain natural body and movement while becoming much easier to blow-dry and iron smooth at home after you schedule a smoothing consultation with our team.

Yes, smoothing treatments can often be combined with hair color and blowout package options to help lock in your fresh color and add brilliant shine. Doing both services together seals the hair shaft, helps prevent premature color fade, and strengthens damaged strands.

To preserve your smoothing results, avoid washing your hair for the recommended post-treatment window and use gentle, sulfate-free cleansers that won’t strip the protective coating. Using nourishing Aveda hair care products at home helps keep your hair soft, glossy, and protected from environmental stress between salon visits.
