“Just as we thought ombre was out, Alberto, our Regional Color Educator with Neill Corporation, came to Tulsa to teach us “Beyond Balayage”. Balayage is a growing color technique used to create a natural customized lightening of the hair while giving a guest less upkeep. Alberto taught us the techniques of using ombre and Balayage to create a lived in hair color effect. Lived in color captured the best of each technique and manipulates them to make it an easier process to achieve. This technique combination gives you versatility to create a beautiful color canvas to capture the natural movement and shadowing in hair. As always, Alberto brings a plethora of knowledge with him everywhere he goes, inspiring us hairstylists to jump right in with both hands. Beyond Balayage brought us new skills to put in our toolbelt for success. So who’s ready for some new color for Spring 2016?”
